El domingo 17 de septiembre, la Academia de la Televisión de Estados Unidos entregará los premios Emmy 2017 en una ceremonia que tendrá al comediante Stephen Colbert en la conducción.
Esta tarde se conocieron los nominados y, entre los favoritos se encuentran series como Better Call Saul, The Crown y The Americans. El drama de ciencia ficción de HBO, Westworld sumó 22 candidaturas y se convirtió en el gran favorito, mientras que Stranger Things y Feud obtuvieron 18.
El año pasado, Game of Thrones (también de HBO) la convirtió en la serie más premiada al obtener 38 premios a lo largo de sus seis primeras temporadas. En este caso, el retraso en comenzar su séptima temporada, le impidió estar nominada para quedarse con alguna estatuilla.
A su vez, A+E Networks Latin América fue nominada a 12 premios Emmy por las series de A&E Mi vida con Síndrome de Down y Esclavos de la Cienciología”, de LIFETIME Project Runway y la serie factual que traerá HISTORY próximamente Life Below Zero.
