El video de Keaton Jones, un chico que cuenta entre lágrimas ser víctima de acoso escolar se ha vuelto viral y ha desencadenado una ola de solidaridad por parte de actores de Hollywood, estrellas de la música y grandes deportistas de Estados Unidos.
La madre de Keaton colgó el video el viernes en Facebook a petición de su hijo, después de que éste le suplicara que lo fuera a buscar al colegio porque tenía miedo de almorzar en el comedor con sus compañeros.
Desde entonces ha sido visto más de 22 millones de veces y compartido más de 440.000.
"Se ríen de mi nariz, dicen que soy feo, dicen que no tengo amigos. Me tiran leche y ponen jamón dentro de mi ropa, me lanzan trozos de pan", cuenta el chico. "No me gusta que me hagan esto y sin duda no me gusta que se lo hagan a otras personas porque no está bien", explica, desbordado por las lágrimas.
"Las personas que son diferentes no necesitan ser criticadas por ello, no es su culpa. Si se ríen de ti, no dejes que te moleste. Sé fuerte", subraya. "Las cosas irán mejor un día".
Ese día llegó antes de lo que imaginaba.
Chris Evans, que encarna a Capitán América, invitó a Jones al estreno de la próxima película de "Avengers". "Sé fuerte, Keaton. Te prometo que todo mejorará", escribió el actor en Twitter.
"Mientras estos vándalos en tu escuela están decidiendo qué tipo de personas quieren ser en este mundo, ¿te gustaría venir con tu madre al estreno de 'Avengers' en Los Ángeles el año que viene?", le preguntó.
Mark Hamill, el legendario Luke Skywalker de "Star Wars" también se pronunció: "Keaton, no pierdas el tiempo preguntándote por qué hacen esto. Son personas tristes que piensan que hacer daño a los demás les hará sentir bien porque no se quieren a sí mismos".
